Eurosender is an online platform for booking door-to-door logistics services in Europe. The startup contracted INSTICOM to announce its official launch in Belgium and to raise awareness on its activities to travellers, expatriates, students, and also SMEs.
Eurosender is the first platform to act as a logistics comparator between carriers to choose the fastest and cheapest solution. Before launching any communication to the media, we contacted some key journalists to inform them that a sort of Booking.com in the goods and luggage transport would soon be launched on the Belgian market. This little teasing worked well and reporters were excepting to receive more information. For the official launch, we distributed a press release and a press kit, and contacted reporters by phone to set up interviews with the founders of the platform.
After the launch, we regularly provided the media with feature articles, each time with a specific target: tips and tricks to facilitate moving for Erasmus students, fun information on the logistics surrounding the football World Cup 2018, advice to help expats moving to Brussels, benefits for small businesses that rarely send parcels, etc.
The teasing session created an enthusiasm amongst reporters. They were excited to learn more about the new platform, as well as receiving feature articles. The results amongst B2C and B2B media were excellent, with regular publication of articles in several key titles each month.
